People Vote for People—Vote Synagex Best of the Berkshires!

When we found out Synagex had been nominated for Best of the Berkshires, we obviously wanted to spread the word. But somewhere along the way, our campaign became about something much bigger than asking for votes.... It became a chance to celebrate our people.

At Synagex, we talk a lot about People. Process. Tools. There’s a reason people come first. You can have great technology, great cybersecurity tools, and great processes in place, but at the end of the day, IT is still a service—and the people delivering that service make all the difference.

So instead of simply telling everyone why we thought Synagex deserved their vote, we decided to let our clients do some of the talking—And what they said made us pretty proud.

Helpful, Knowledgeable and Patient

When our clients talk about the Synagex team, technical knowledge certainly comes up. But just as often, they talk about how that knowledge is delivered. Ashley and Nick were recognized for being helpful, knowledgeable, and patient—the kind of people who can solve a technology problem without making the person asking for help feel like the problem.

IT can be confusing. It can be frustrating. And usually, when someone calls us, it's because something isn't working the way it should. Being technically capable is the baseline. Being able to explain the problem, patiently work through it, and make the experience a good one? That's service.

Making IT Easy

Clients had similar things to say about Joe and Mel, including praise for their customer service and their ability to make IT feel easy—That's one of the best compliments we can receive because it's exactly what Modern IT is supposed to do.

Our clients shouldn't need to become technology experts just to run their businesses. That's our job. We take the complicated stuff happening behind the scenes and turn it into an experience that feels simple, approachable, and manageable.

Great IT isn't about complexity. It's about making the complex feel simple.

Friendly, Thorough and Really Good at What They Do

When clients described Ed and Don, words like friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough came up—We love that combination!

We want our people to know their stuff. We also want them to be the kind of people our clients are happy to see walk through the door—or hear on the other end of the phone. IT doesn't have to feel cold or overly technical. You can take the work seriously without taking yourself too seriously. You can be incredibly good at technology and still be approachable, personable, and maybe even fun to work with... Around here, we consider that part of the job!

Going Above and Beyond

Dylan and Josh were also recognized by clients for being helpful, professional, and committed to resolving issues—including going above and beyond when that's what it takes.

Customer service isn't just responding to a ticket quickly. It's taking ownership. It's communicating. It's understanding what the person actually needs. And ultimately, it's making sure the problem gets solved—That's the standard our team works toward every day.

People Vote for People

Throughout the campaign, we kept coming back to one phrase: People vote for people. Our clients weren't talking about a piece of software they love—they were talking about Ashley. Nick. Joe. Mel. Ed. Don. Dylan. Josh. They were talking about the people who answer their calls, solve their problems, explain the complicated stuff, make them laugh, and show up when they need help. That's what we're most proud of.

Being recognized as one of the Top 5 finalists for Best of the Berkshires was pretty cool. But hearing our clients explain why they enjoy working with the people behind Synagex might have been the best part
